The Tanner Family, Live!

Home movies were non-existent in our home until 1969, when my brother-in-law Ken Woolley joined our family and began documenting our life in film, so we don't have much live footage to share. What we do have, we treasure.

Dad and Mom were not photographers. (In fact, even at my high school graduation in 1980, they were still trying to figure out how to not hold the camera upside down!)
"Make It a Good Life"
Fortunately, we do have this choice video, completed in 2016 in time for Mom's 96th birthday. My sister Kaye had the good sense and determination to spearhead its production, and my sister Terri had the skill and grace to provide the narration. Although they made it mostly to honor our mother, we are all the beneficiaries. Precious photos, period music, and individual interviews with every child as well as many songs sung by Mom help capture much of what shaped our family, including the influence of our good father.

Thanks to my talented nephew Rob Tanner, who knows how to work a drone and a camera, we have some recent video montages of the expanded Tanner family having fun together. They include only some of the next generation, but when you watch them, you will still get a sense of how our Tanner Tribe has grown in numbers.
